Loadbrook cottages could be charming, but my stay was full of disappointments. The main door was a veritable puzzle to open, and I was shocked there woudl ve been no complimentary snack for such a pricey retreat. Just a few more plugs near the bed would have gone a long way. Almost gave them a good review, but no.

Staying at Loadbrook Cottages was an absolute privilege. The double room with a private bathroom was spacious and comfortable, and the large luxurious bathroom served as a perfect place to unwind. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were fantastic, providing great advice on local dining and scenic trails. Watching the wildlife, including pheasants wandering on the lawn, added to the joy of my stay.
Could use a couple more plug sockets near the bed.

The double room with a private bathroom offers a large, comfortable space to kick back after a day out. The luxurious bathroom, complete with ample hot water, really hits the spot for relaxing at the end of the day.
Opening the main door is a bit of a hassle. it requires some pressure to close it properly before the lock engages. Plus, there could've been a couple more plug sockets near the bed for added convenience, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.

Couples escape to tranquility
It was an absolute privilege to stay here. The large light comfy rooms and the luxurious bathroom with a tub did wonders after a long day exploring the area.
It wasn’t cheap, but it was still fine for what we got.
